Office Manager

Ref: 07172 | Permanent | Luxembourg | £45,000 - 50,000 per Annum

Our client, a commercial foreign exchange specialist with offices throughout Europe, is seeking an Office Manager with Finance Support responsibilities to join its growing Luxembourg office.
The Office Manager will be responsible for providing daily operational support to Directors, as well as providing support for various finance and administrative activities to ensure that the office runs as smoothly as possible.
Amongst the duties of the Office Manager are:
Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes at meetings
Arranging travel and accommodation as needed, as well as booking taxis and couriers
Preparing monthly financial reports for local teams
Preparing information for internal and external audits
Collating and preparing invoices and payment
Preparing information required for forecasting and budgeting
General support and project work such as New Joiner inductions, ordering of business cards and arranging building access
Organising and coordinating local company events
Providing a Front of House service, meeting visitors and booking rooms, lunches, and AV equipment
Responsibility for Health & Safety, Fire Safety & First Aid
Effective maintenance of office supplies, including acting as the key liaison point for suppliers
Office Manager – what we`re looking for:
Previous experience working as an Office Manager, within a Corporate or Financial Services environment
An excellent knowledge of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process and controls
Fluent French and English is essential
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
An ability to analyse complicated data
An understand of financial regulation, compliance and risk management in the local region
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Used to working on your own initiative, and remaining calm under pressure
