Loss Prevention

Ref: 05931 | Permanent | West Midlands | £30000 - £30000 per Annum

My Client is a leading fashion retailer who are seeking a loss prevention officer to join their expanding company to protect Company profits through the delivery of the Loss Prevention Strategy.

Responsibilities/ Objectives:

• The ability to effectively analyse and interpret data, using this to manage risk and prioritise workload.
• Proactively monitor high-risk stores, conduct risk assessments whilst adopt a partnership approach to support and assist stores and Regional Managers.
• Effectively utilise exception reports and data-mining systems to detect and reduce risk.
• Identify and communicate clear actions necessary to deliver the Loss Prevention strategy.
• Effectively and clearly report results and recommendations relating to the Loss Prevention Manager and key stakeholders.
• Investigate incidents of internal and external theft and breaches of company procedure, whilst devising and recommending preventative measures.
• Develop and deliver appropriate coaching to educate and support Retail teams in reducing risk and protecting their profits.
• Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Company Operational policy and procedures.
• Possess an understanding of current legislation relating to loss prevention within the industry.
• Advise on Company policy and procedure relating to Loss Prevention.
• Create a culture of safety for store teams and customers.
• Take responsibility for personal development and seek constructive feedback to develop skills, ensuring open communication is achieved.
• Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Company Security equipment
• Any other ad hoc duties as required

The role is suited to a confident self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team. The fast-paced environment requires the ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities.
