Strategic Account Director Media & Marketing

We are looking for an Account Director with B2B experience and who ideally has experience of or a passion for working with clients in the the media/marketing sector.

Our client, a prestigious PR agency based SE London works with a portfolio of leading names that sit within this space. They also work across other business areas including Technology which continues to be an area of growth for the agency.

The Account Director will need to demonstrate specific industry expertise along with strong team leadership and client management capabilities. A media relations-orientated Account Director with the ability to create ideas and write.

The agency encourages contribution and new ideas from their Account Directors and to play an active part in the running of the business.

Through their award winning work they are making their mark and establishing themselves as a key `mover and shaker` in shaping the industry. The agency and its consultants are encouraged to embrace new digital and social media channels and explore ways these can be used to achieve the best results for clients.

The Account Director will be responsible for:-
Overall responsibility for client portfolio, delivering to agency standards and meeting programme or campaign objectives;
Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders; account development and growth; new ideas and business generation; coaching, training and development; Media Relations and in-depth journalist knowledge and the ability to understand what makes a good story and what tactics can be best used to get outstanding coverage for clients.
