Account Manager Financial PR

An exciting opportunity for a Financial PR Account Manager to join an award-winning financial & corporate communications agency in City of London within its capital markets team.

This role is ideal for either an established PR Account Manger or a tenacious Senior PR Executive with proven experience in Financial PR seeking a promotion by joining this dynamic, entrepreneurial and highly reputable PR agency.

The successful PR Account Manager will get the opportunity to devise and implement the financial PR / communications programmes for an eclectic mix clients across a broad range of sectors spanning the tech, media, entertainment, consumer/FMCG and financial services sectors.

The right candidate must have a solid proven experience in financial PR ideally within an agency environment who can demonstrate their ability to create, implement and manage integrated global PR campaigns, as well as leading teams, managing budgets, P&L and generating new business.

The PR Account Manager role is varied and will involve providing strategic consultancy to C-suite executives, financial PR calendar work, some investor relations, content generation, media relations, crisis management, corporate reputation management, thought leadership and advocacy / stakeholder engagement programmes.

Experience of managing financial PR for listed companies is essential along with all financial calendar communication activities including, interim/annual financial results, IPO`s, M&A and fundraisings.

In addition to managing existing client programmes and the junior team members the Account Manager will work closely with the senior management team to generate new business and revenue streams.

Key Skills:
• Ability to win new business and in leading, managing and growing a profitable portfolio of clients.
• Experience in running financial PR strategies corporate communications / reputation management programmes
• Proven contacts across all key national press
• Demonstrable passion for the sector and detailed knowledge of the commercial and communications challenges faced across all stakeholders.
• Proven counsellor to senior in-house communications teams and C-suite executives.
• Dynamic and proven, team leader and coach, with exceptional people management skills.
• Strategic client servicing
