3-MONTH FTC (WITH THE VIEW TO BECOMING A PERMANENT ROLE)

A fashion agency with a diverse portfolio is seeking an HR Manager to join the team.

With an impressive client base spanning from small boutique brands to global fashion labels, our client successfully partners with its clients to build brands across all platforms – from wholesale and distribution to delivering a full retail and digital experience.

Your new role:
As HR Manager, you will provide full generalist support to your client group, delivering an effective HR service, particularly operationally, to oversee and manage the full lifecycle of each employee. This is predominantly an operational-focused role, with the opportunity to also lead on ER cases and work on HR projects for the group.

As HR Manager your responsibilities will include:
(Operational)
Delivering a full human resources service to your dedicated client group, executing all employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit
Working with the HR Administrator to ensure an excellent HR service is provided, in line with company policies and procedures, and meeting SLAs
Maintaining, amending, and ensuring the accuracy of employee data and documentation
Leading on employment relation cases, including leading disciplinary and grievance hearings
Ensuring all ER policies and procedures are followed at all times, acting as a subject matter expert on this
Providing excellent people solutions that benefit both the employee and business
Taking the lead on organisational change work such as restructuring
Ensuring payroll is processed

(System management and projects)
Ensuring the HR system provider meets SLAs and that the system is being used correctly
Regular spot checking of the HR system to ensure accuracy of data
Creating reports for senior stakeholders
Delivering on any projects alongside the HR Directors
Driving policies and initiatives such as employee engagement initiatives, L&D
(Stakeholder management)
Build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders and third parties

Managing and cultivating relationships with department heads, directors and business leads to ensure effective people-related solutions

This role will suit an HR generalist or HR Manager who excels operationally, and with solid experience in handling employee relations cases. Being fully responsible for the lifecycle of the employee is key for this role, and you will work alongside the HR Administrator to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle for all in your client group, striving to provide excellent, generalist support. As HR Manager you will:

Be CIPD qualified (level 5)
Have at least 3 years` experience in a similar role, involving ER Cases
Have a good working knowledge of employment law
Have some experience in devising and delivering L&D activities
Have experience working with third-party providers
Be computer literal – Microsoft Office including Excel, and experience with HR systems
Have good admin skills – as this role will require you to work administratively in relation to the employee lifecycle
