Compliance Director - Luxembourg

Our client, a commercial Foreign Exchange specialist with an international profile, is seeking a Compliance Director to join the team in their growing Luxembourg office.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, amongst the responsibilities of the Compliance Director will be:
• Overall responsibility for the functions managed by the MLRO, including client
onboarding and monitoring, data protection, and regulatory obligations and reporting
• Overall responsibility for the functions managed by the Settlements Manager, to
include reconciliation of client funds, management of regulated payment processes,
and administration of safeguarding bank accounts
• Ensuring compliance of the sales representative office in Spain
• Provision of management information as requested
• Liaison with CSSF as required
• Broking and Banking Line Opening
• Acting as an escalation point when required

Compliance Director – what we`re looking for:
• Previous experience in a similar role, performing controlled or regulated function
• A good understanding of commercial deliverable foreign exchange markets
• Relevant professional qualifications
• Fluency in French or German would be preferred, but is not essential
• Strong organisational and team management skills
