Assistant Production Manager

Ref: 05765 | Permanent | East Midlands | £28,000 - 32,000 per Annum


A well-established RTW and Bridal label are looking for a Assistant Production Manager to join their team in Lincolnshire!

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most recognised bridal and occasion wear labels in the UK.

As Assistant Production Manager your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Production Manager with ensuring individual pieces are delivered to time and to the highest quality
Sourcing and assisting with ordering of all raw materials, and following through with confirmations and delivery timelines
Produce inventory of all raw material and up loading on an internal database, managing intake and also Quality Assurance
Ensuring raw materials and samples are chased and on site ahead of when needed
Scheduling, creating a markers and prioritising the sealing process and organising a grading schedule that adhere to the Critical Path
Sourcing, other areas of procurement such as accessories, bags, dress and packing materials
Ensuring communication is fluid between the technical team and that relevant amendments and changes are communicated to manufactures prior to production
Oversee the production process, with daily communication with suppliers and factories and weekly visits to factories
Logistical coordination for the delivery of raw material and production guaranteeing that things are running to schedule and also the shipment of orders
Assisting with team management development and motivation
Prepare regular reports ensuring the workflow is smooth
Quality control of all final styles, and ensuring that they are produced to the highest standard and represents the brand
Liaising with factories to ensure on time deliveries

As Assistant Production Manager for this prestigious bridal brand, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 years` working at a similar level with a brand or label. You will also have experience working in the Bridal and eveningwear with a strong understanding of processes and couture manufacturing techniques. You will be a strong communicator, highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks at any one time.

This is an extremely hands on role and would suit someone with previous experience working in a luxury environment. You will have previous experience in logistics and procurement and able to plan, prioritise and schedule the work load. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for long term position in Production Management.
