We are seeking an exceptional Corporate PR Account Director/ Associate Director to join an award-winning public affairs & corporate communications agency in City of London. This is an exciting opportunity for a PR Account Director or an established financial PR guru looking to step up to Associate Director at a disruptive financial PR agency and work on an eclectic mix of client across multiple business sectors.

The successful PR Account Director/ Associate Director will play a vital role in the senior leadership team and report directly into the Managing Director.

This is an exciting opportunity for a PR Account Director looking for promotion to Associate Director level at a top tier public affairs and corporate communications agency.

The right candidate must have a solid proven experience in corporate PR within an agency environment who can demonstrate their ability to create, implement and manage integrated global PR campaigns, as well as leading teams, managing budgets, P&L and generating new business.

The Account Director / Associate Director role is varied and will involve providing strategic consultancy to C-suite executives, financial PR calendar work, some investor relations, content generation, media relations, crisis management, corporate reputation management, thought leadership and advocacy / stakeholder engagement programmes.

In addition to managing existing client programmes and agency team, the Account Director/Associate Director will work with the Managing Director to generate new business and revenue streams.

Has sharp business and PR acumen to quickly determine short and long-term priorities for self and junior team members to ensure all client needs are met
Experienced in managing and working on a diverse range of sectors and accounts
Strategic, analytical thinker with the initiative to see a programme through from start to finish
Confident networker – adept at staying in touch with key decision makers and contacts
Ability to digest and organise large volumes of information quickly, and stay abreast of ever-changing political and social developments that may affect client work
Strong understanding of workings of both traditional PR and PA
Experience delivering integrated campaigns
Curious – a desire to learn, improve, apply new knowledge and develop self
Excellent grasp of clients` marketplaces, audiences and routes to market
Incisive, creative and strategic problem solver
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly commercially astute and decisive
